Host a StreetSafe Event

StreetSafe is a 501(3)c non -profit charitable organization putting young drivers behind the wheel with First Responder Instructors.

The mission of the StreetSafe Lifesaving Driving Experience is to teach young, inexperienced drivers – our most at-risk youth – to become safer and more responsible on the road by offering a hands-on experience and interactive discussion session, while promoting parental involvement. Our goal is to reduce the alarmingly high rate of crashes, injury, deaths and DUI’s for young drivers.

Bring StreetSafe to Your High School or Business Today!

StreetSafe is a unique, hands-on program that puts young drivers through several exercises where – in a controlled environment – they experience the consequences of distractions, losing control, impaired driving, safe stopping distance and seatbelt use.  They also participate in an interactive discussion session while hearing from local judges, district attorneys, and the victims and perpetrators of those involved in MVC’s.  StreetSafe also emphasizes the importance of parental involvement in their young drivers’ education and is unique in its inclusion of a parents’ session as part of its program. District Court Judge Honorable James Faison says “Street Safe is the most innovative, unique, and effective drivers education program anywhere in the world.”

Our 4 ½ hour sessions are limited to 60 students and our goal is to fill every one of those spots when we visit your high school or business. A minimal number of registrants and cut-off date will be established once a date is set for your event. We look forward to working together to ensure a successful event and to help us reach as many young, at-risk drivers as possible in your area.

Here is some basic information about hosting a StreetSafe session:

  • First, we will need to establish that your facility’s parking lot meets the requirements to run a safe and effective session. Once we receive your request, someone will come scout the facility.
  • We will also require use of an auditorium, cafeteria, or conference room for the full 4 ½ hour session, as well as one classroom for the first hour. School facility usage forms are completed by StreetSafe.
  • We bring all of our own equipment, vehicles and trained instructor teams comprised of certified First Responders.
  • We also require and provide waivers that each student’s parent/guardian must sign during check-in the day of the event. StreetSafe staff will handle check-in and all event procedures during the session.

  •  Advanced registration is required.
